At GLENROCK we are all committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention to all patients.   PATIENT  EDUCATION NIGHTS are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month Free of charge Time 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm at Glenfield Community Hall (next door) Topics covered to date include; Diabetes, Mental Health (Depression), Skin Cancers, Men’s Health, Osteoporosis.   Our practice has a flexible appointment  system that enables us to accommodate patients with urgent, non-urgent, complex, planned chronic care, and preventive health needs .  Glenrock offers patients the option of home or nursing home visits if needed. Appointments are made via our friendly reception staff.    Glenrock provides patients with 24 hour care Outside normal opening hours patients can use the Wagga  Wagga GP After hours service at Piercy Place in Morgan Street. After Hours ph: 02 69310900 .  We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with due respect. Glenrock Country Practice is staffed by highly trained and experienced health care professionals Our aim at Glenrock is to manage patients with Chronic disease in the best possible way, this is achieved through Collaboration between Doctors and other allied health professionals. The Practice Nurses, Dietitian, Podiatrist, Exercise Physiologist and visiting Psychologist are all committed to deliver the best possible care to our patients. As our logo says “Your Health In The Hands of Caring Professionals”.   Our friendly Dietitian at Glenrock Country Practice, is a an accredited Practising Dietitian with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia. her work focuses on healthy lifestyle and eating, weight loss program and regular exercise.  Our friendly Podiatrist looks after patients with feet concerns , especially patients with Diabetes and other chronic diseases.  Craig Ambler is the only accredited Exercise Physiologist in the Riverina. He works at Glenrock every Monday & Thursday. Ask your GP for a referral.  Our visiting Psychologist who works together with our GP’s to deliver best health outcomes to patients with a mental health illness.   Our friendly and professional Nursing staff provides clinics as part of well structured programs to deal with Immunisations, Asthma, Diabetes, Aged Care Assessments, Weight Loss and Antenatal Care. Appointments can be made between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm by contacting our reception staff.  Consult fees for patients referred from their Doctor to Allied Health Professionals who are on a GP Management Plan maybe subsidised by Medicare, Patients with private health cover may be able to claim on site via their health fund for part consult fee, Should you have any queries regarding fee structure don’t hesitate to ask..
