Diabetic Clinic:
Donna Hann is able to provide Diabetic information to patients seeking advise on how to manager their disease.
Imunisation Clinic:
Our Nursing staff complete regular clinics for childhood immunistaions on a weekly basis.
Contact your usual Doctor or any of our Nursing Sisters for advise on the benefits of having your child immunised.
Skin Checks:
Associate Professor Ayman Shenouda conducts full body skin checks each Wednesday afternoon, and also Saturday mornings at Glenrock Country Practice.
Skin checks are required to;
- identify any skin problems that patients may have (ie cancers)
- advise patients on any appropriate treatment if cancers detected
- recommend how often the patients need a skin check in the future.
Due to the harsh Australian conditions that we all live in, it is recommended that patients should have a skin check completed at any age, especially if they feel that a skin blemish has changed in colour or size.
Due to the popularity of skin checks, it is advised that patients should contact our surgery to make an appointment well in advance - any urgent matters should be reffered to your usual Doctor for advise/treatment.
Medical students:
Glenrock Country Practice is currently assisting the training of future Doctors by allowing 4th & eventually 5th Year medical students coming to our practice to observe and have the opportunity to talk to patients about their conditions.
Without the support and assistance of community minded patients, this benefical training process would not happen.
